When it comes to 1970's costumed TV dramas, cherubic-faced martial arts star
Wong Yuen Sun was among the most well known leading men of the genre.
Famous for his role in TVB's period martial arts series Luk Siu Fung, he also acted
on the big screen in kung fu and crime movies. In 1979 he demonstrated his range
by directing and starring in the enjoyable off the wall comedy Crazy Partner.
Wong Yuen Sun has disappeared from the public eye, and the Hong Kong press
has reported that he (despite being a married family man) has become a monk.
If his long absence is any indication, he has now completely retired from the
entertainment business.
