                                    British professional snooker player Jimmy White played himself in Stephen Chow's

                                            1990 kung fu / billiards / comedy extravaganza Legend of the Dragon.

                                White is affectionately known by fans as "the people's champion" for his daring trick shots

                                  and perseverance in his sport despite having lost the World Championship six times.

                                     In 1998 he penned his autobiography, "Behind the White Ball", which chronicled an 

                                   eventful alcohol-soaked life including his experience making Legend of the Dragon 

                                                                                      in Hong Kong.
